Writing this book was a transformational experience. It challenged my views on culture, but I also realized that we don't need to be office-centric to build a culture that's strong.

As I interviewed people, I observed fear, excitement, and skepticism. I met leaders who wanted to go back to normal and others brave enough to admit things had changed and they didn't have the answers.

I also encountered people who would rather lose their jobs than the flexibility they gained by working remotely.

My journey was also living proof of what I've been preaching all these years: successful organizations are the result of design, not chance. In a hybrid workplace, being intentional, purposeful, and consistent is even more critical.
